Research topic, current CDI directions
- Experimental and theoretical study of molecular mechanisms (with emphasis on redox processes) and at the nano and macrosystems level for the design of more efficient procedures for the valorization of waste electrical and electronic equipment through the recovery of materials of economic and industrial interest.
- Obtaining and functional characterization of metal micro/nano particles with catalytic properties.
- Design informed by modeling for the development of environmentally friendly systems for thermal energy storage.
- Analysis and design in food processing processes including bioactive compounds usable for functional food manufacturing, with the pursuit of molecular properties and their synergy with nano- and macro-level properties of materials.
- Modeling, simulation of large-scale production processes for techno-economic and environmental impact analysis.
